3CEMS provide the following DMS services to our customers

1.  Box Build DMS service: customers normally need this type of service if

a.  have product hardware (PCBA) and software design ready but do not want invest extra ME (Mechanical Engineers)/ID (Industrial Design Engineers and EMI/Reliability test for the product enclosure

b.  a product in service for a while but need enclosure modification per  customers field feedbacks

The design services included for Box Build service are:

·   ID design per customer’s preference

·   ME design per customer’s preference

·   EMI, thermo, and other reliability design for the product

·   EMI, thermo, and reliability certification test to meet standard requirement

·   ID/ME tooling for final enclosure

 

2.  ODM DMS service: customers normally need this type of service if a brand new product need to develop

The design services included for ODM service are:

·    Product requirements review and finalized with FIC/3CEMS/design house R&D

·    PCB design per requirements

·    PCBA design per requirements

·    ID design per customer’s preference

·    ME design per customer’s preference

·    EMI, thermo, and other reliability design for the product

·    EMI, thermo, and reliability certification test to meet standard requirement

·    ID/ME tooling for final enclosure

·    Complete unit test, functional test, system test, stress test, and corner case test to ensure product function and reliability quality compliance

·    Product data sheet generation

 

3.  OEM DMS service: customers normally need this type of service if they are looking for an existing product for their applications

The design services included for OEM service are:

 ·   Customer can search FIC/3CEMS/design house product catalog to decide an OEM candidate

 ·   3CEMS will assist customer to negotiate an OEM deal

 ·   3CEMS can provide simple ME change to add customer logo to the OEM  products

For each DMS project, there will be one DMS Project Manager(PM) assigned to the project. The DMS PM will work closely with customer and R&D engineers to ensure customer requirements are precisely understood by R&D team.  DMS PM will work closely with R&D team to ensure product development quality and product delivery schedule. Finally, DMS PM will work with factories NPI team to guide the DMS product into mass production.

DMS NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) Charge:

For each DMS project, there will be an associated NRE charge to cover engineering cost, PCBA material/manufacturing cost, ME/ID tooling cost, and product testing cost. The NRE cost should be agreed between customers and 3CEMS sale team before the project can be started. Customer can choose to pay the NRE by using either (1) one time payment, (2) distributed the cost into each mass production product unit price for first few months, or (3) mixed partial payment plus per mass production unit price premium increase.
